In addition to standard purchases and refinances, our firm has extensive experience with refinance closings involving consolidation, extension and modifications (NY CEMAs), as well as co-op purchases and refinances and reverse mortgages. This experience extends to residential 1-4 family transactions, multi-family transactions; mixed-use properties and small to mid-size commercial properties.

We’ve also worked extensively with lenders and borrowers on purchase transactions involving CEMAs to help both parties achieve substantial savings on the New York State mortgage tax and transfer tax. 

The Firm also serves as outside general counsel to a newly established private equity fund, managing assets for investors in variety of real estate related asset classes. With access to conference room facilities in every county in downstate New York and an experienced staff of per diem attorneys and paralegals, the Firm is well equipped to handle a substantial volume of residential and other types of mortgage loan closings. Likewise, the Firm’s attorneys are available to close loans throughout the five boroughs of New York City, as well as Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland and Putnam counties, whether during regular business hours or in the evening.

Additionally, the firm’s attorneys & closers speak several foreign languages, including Spanish, Italian, French, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi, and can conduct closings in these languages. We accommodate travel throughout NY City and NY State, depending on the location.
